MCH Volunteers

MCH Auxiliary
The Monroe County Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer group dedicated to supporting the hospital through service and fundraising efforts. Volunteers play a crucial role as the first point of contact for many patients, providing a warm welcome and assisting with directions at the information desk. They also help operate the hospital gift shop, where all proceeds go directly toward purchasing medical equipment for the hospital. Beyond their service roles, volunteers enjoy free lunch and opportunities for social interaction, fostering a sense of community while making a meaningful impact. Their dedication helps enhance the overall patient experience and support hospital operations.

The Tree of Love is a cherished annual fundraiser hosted by the Monroe County Hospital Auxiliary to honor and remember loved ones during the holiday season. Each December, a special celebration is held at Monroe County Hospital, bringing together community members, hospital staff, and supporters for a heartfelt tribute. During the event, Board Members and Administrative Officers read aloud the names submitted "In Memory" and "In Honor" of loved ones. This touching moment is followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree, symbolizing love, remembrance, and community spirit. Proceeds from the Tree of Love fundraiser directly support the hospital, helping to fund essential equipment and services. For more information or to make a donation, please contact the MCH Auxiliary at 251-743-7471.
