Monroe County Hospital Rural Health Clinic is staffed by Lindsey Harbin-Lamb, M.D., Family Practice/Obstetrics, Alison Gibson, CRNP, Family Practice and Caroline Rainey, CRNP, Pediatric Primary Care.
Dr. Lindsay Harbin is a native of Athens, Alabama and joined our team in August 2017. Lindsey decided to pursue her undergraduate college education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She obtained a degree in Chemistry and Biology in 2009. She was accepted into the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2009 and graduated in 2013. Dr. Harbin-Lamb completed her family medicine residency at UAB Huntsville Family Medicine Residency.
Alison Gibson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has an extensive nursing background that includes cardiac, women's health and emergency medicine. As a 1998 graduate of the University of West Alabama in nursing, Alison later completed her MSN from Troy University and has been practicing locally since 2013. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Alison cares for patients of all ages and is currently accepting new patients.
Caroline Rainey is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in 2011. Caroline began her career in pediatrics with five years of experience at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Nashville, Tennessee. She continued her education and received a Masters of Science in Nursing, specializing in Pediatric Primary Care, from Vanderbilt University in 2015. She is board certified through the Pediatric National Certification Board.
